Have your own Make, Bake, and Talk about ME Party!

Make, Bake, and Talk about ME parties are parties hosted by teens at their homes. During the parties, teens can bake together while discussing ME - their mental emotions. The baked goods made at the parties are then either used for a Cookies for ME bake sale or just enjoyed by party guests.

Here are some great ways to start a conversation about mental emotions. Don't feel like you need to stick to these questions - just see where the conversation takes you. We hope your party will help you realize that you are not alone in your feelings and that you can be a source of support for your friends.

Questions to get the conversation started:

  • What are the different kinds of mental emotions?
  • Is anything going on with your mental emotions?
  • What does it feel like? What are we experiencing?
  • What can we do to help each other?
  • Who else can we speak with about our mental emotions?
  • Can we find someone to see if we have any concerns?
  • Are we taking care of our mental emotions in a healthy way?
Remember, if it seems like any of your friends are in trouble with their mental emotions, please seek help immediately - you can follow the steps on our how to help a friend page and find what signs and symptoms to look for here.
