HOW WE STARTED

The ME Project began when we realized a need for a mental health organization focused on teens and adolescents in the Delaware Valley. We began the ME Project in loving memory of Michael Edward (ME), our brother/cousin who died by suicide in June of 2005 at age eighteen after struggling with mental health issues for most of his teenage years. We believe that suicides can be prevented if teens and adolescents have the right information and resources available to them and feel as if they can talk about their mental health openly.
